Our team on the ground insures we have the right projects that will have positive impact with support from all local stakeholders including government and tribal officials.

The Batwa of Kisoro Hill are farming on land provided by Plant Fruit. They are learning to create their own food, to harvest organic vegetables, and plant sustainable crops.

Land is necessary for food production, housing, & clean water. A better life begins with a permanent location. Land is at its core. 

Teaching women to sew, men to make bricks, create furniture and farming with our proven  "Eat One, Plant One, Sell One" program, creates self sufficiency, self confidence,  and pride.

With plentiful rainfall in Uganda growing crops is easy if you have land and seeds. Plant Fruit teaches organic farming and community gardening to ensure the Batwa have food  for survival .

Every project is implemented with and by the Batwa.

All projects are designed to be  self-sustaining within

3 to 5 years.
