Food Forest Development
The Food Forest is working! Families living in Batwa Hope Village harvested beans - first the beans that create ground cover and then the climbing beans planted where more housing will be created. The Batwa are using every inch of land for housing community or food production. Many plants of various kinds grow right outside the homes at Hope Village. A Home Without Fear
November 2025 was an amazing month. Our founder and her husband made the trip for the 5th time to Kisoro. During that month the food forest produced its first harvest - women from the Mikiingo tribe took home food from the ground at Batwa Hope Village.
