Updated: Sep 22, 2022

August 16, 2022 Kisoro Sewing School will began teaching Uganda's poorest women to sew. This will be life changing for the women of the Batwa Community at Kisoro Hill. Joy, the Cyanika seamstress who will be teaching initially, was excited about opening the school. She posed in front of the school sign a few days before the opening. 8 Sewing machines have been delivered. On September 16th 4 additional students came to school - we have 12 students! The women are beginning to learn a marketable skill. We are so excited to have the school open! Thank you to our magnificent donor who made this possible ahead of schedule!
