Our sewing school has been open a month and a half, and the women in class are learning so much! On 10/3/22 the teacher sent us photos of the women wearing clothing they had sewn for themselves and their families. Several looked quite good. Some not as professional. But, all were better than the old outfits they had worn to school the first day. The women are feeling a sense of pride in their work. Some are hopeful they can make an income with their new skills. It is such a pleasure to hear the excitement in their voices as they realize how learning to sew can change their lives. To our donors we say
THANK YOU on behalf of the sewing students. "WAKOZE! " Thank you so much! This is the beginning of a new life for the Batwa women at Kisoro Hill.
